Child's Protection

Millions of children around the world are in danger of abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence – at home, in school, in the community or during unforeseen emergencies. Due to political instabilities and bad life conditions, many children orphans or many only have one parent who live in an extreme poverty. That is the case of Cameroon and around Africa. Save the Children keeps the most vulnerable children safe from hunger, illiteracy and any harm.

Health and Nutrition

Helping children and rural communities to grow up happy and healthy. While life expectancy and child survival rates have improved in most developed countries, the mortality rate of children and adults due to malnutrition, cholera, and hydric disease in Cameroon is still very bad. Divine Mercy Foundation is focusing proper and offering orphans balanced, decent and healthy meals daily. We also appeal to help us create conditions where drilling wells for drinkable water is possible. This we wish to extend around the rural areas.

Child's Education

Education has the power to transform the lives of children, now and for generations to come. However, in South Africa still has massive inequities in learning opportunities amongst children.

The Foundation (DMF) in its actual label has only been legalised in December 2022. However, we have been operating since since 2016 under the Catholic Church of St. Peter’s Point in Durban. There in Durban and in Cameroon - Yaounde, the foundation has been feeding, the hungry, giving hampers to families, clothing and helping the homeless and refugees to find a shelter

How we work towards:

Process

Adopting a child or a family

The Foundation Divine Mercy gives you a possibility to adopt a child or chose a family that you can assist in order to help them develop and become autonomous. This is based on the life story. For the moments we have such children and families in Cameroon and in South Africa.

Economic empowerment

Divine Mercy Foundation wish to help people to help themselves. The proverb: “Help Man to fish instead of giving him the fish” is one of our important priorities. We wish to help every family to have a bread winner or a person who can lift the rest of the family.
